Video, wavefield synthesis array
This piece explores the nature of mind through meditative states. The figure on the screen is perpetually digging and searching, occasionally finding important objects in the soil, only to discard them and resume digging.
Technical creation notes
Using Max9 and TouchDesigner, the audio signals from Max trigger color changes in the video processing in TD. The sound is spatialized in a 32 channel linear wavefield synthesis system.
